THE HOUR OF CREATION Game Modes
Complete guide to Fuses and Breakers modes in THE HOUR OF CREATION on Roblox — objectives, timers, and which mode to play first.
Two Modes, One House Map
As of the July 2026 update, THE HOUR OF CREATION ships with a single House map and two objective modes: Fuses and Breakers. Both modes share the same core threat — Ignited Freddy hunting you on sight — but the task flow and routing differ enough that players often prefer one mode for learning and the other for speed farming.
FNAF ESTABLISHMENT has not published separate changelogs per mode. Everything below is verified from Roblox API metadata plus community gameplay footage (FusionZGamer, Bankgarmo, ThatCaptainPanda) linked to place ID 103836319820542.
Fuses Mode — Collect and Install
Objective: Find fuse items hidden in cabinets and drawers, then install all of them into the Fuse Box before the timer expires.
- Community footage consistently shows 6 fuses required.
- Fuse pickups often have a subtle glow — search room by room along walls.
- The Fuse Box is easy to miss; many first wipes happen because runners never locate it. Read our Fuse Box Locations page before you queue.
- Do not let Freddy see you during installs — line-of-sight triggers aggressive chase.

Breakers Mode — Hold to Activate
Objective: Locate wall-mounted breaker switches and hold each one until it locks in. Releasing early resets progress on that switch.
- Footage shows roughly 8 breakers per run.
- Breaker positions are more static than fuse spawns — experienced players memorize a loop.
- Assign a rear guard in co-op; holding a switch leaves you vulnerable.
- Sprint between breakers only on cleared paths.
See Breakers Mode Walkthrough for hold-timing callouts and co-op splits.
Which Mode Should You Play First?
New players: Start Fuses. The glow hints teach map literacy and the Fuse Box hunt forces you through the basement / central rooms you will need in every future run.
Co-op teams: Breakers scales well with role splits — one holder, one scout, one runner for distant panels.
Speed farmers: Breakers often clears faster once positions are memorized, especially on Normal+ with Nightmare coin multipliers in mind.
Shared Rules Across Both Modes
Flashlight (F), sprint (Left Shift), and crouch (C) behave identically. Party size remains four by default, eight with the gamepass. Ignited Freddy is the primary confirmed animatronic threat in both modes — see Ignited Freddy for chase rules.
After either mode completes, you return to the lobby shop where Faz-Coins can be spent — covered in Shop & Faz-Coins.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I choose the mode in the lobby?
Yes. Select Fuses or Breakers before queuing. Both use the same House map as of July 2026.
Does difficulty change objectives?
Timer pressure and Freddy aggression scale, but objective counts (6 fuses / 8 breakers) appear consistent in verified footage. Nightmare adds coin multipliers.
Are other maps coming?
Community creators expect Forest or Office-style expansions, but nothing is confirmed in official Roblox text. Track our Latest Updates page.
Is Breakers harder than Fuses?
Subjective. Fuses punishes bad routing; Breakers punishes panic releases on hold interactions.
